The Witchfinder: general

Matthew Hopkins, the cruel Witchfinder General of the English Civil War period, was responsible for an uncommon degree of suffering which he inflicted on innocent “witches”.  In this illustration, Glenn James speculated as to what kind of Halloween Hopkins’ soul spends in the afterlife, surrounded by the shades of his victims.  Blind Man’s Bluff would probably be the least of his worries….
